Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Lundén Works processes personal data when you contact us through the quote request form, by phone or by email. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Finnish Data Protection Act.

2. What data we process

In connection with a quote request we only process the data needed to prepare a quote:

• your name (optional),
• your phone number or email address,
• details you provide in the message or object fields (e.g. roof type, area, pitch, preferred timing), if they contain personal data.

We do not process sensitive data and we do not collect data about your visit: the site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising tracking.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Handling your quote request, preparing a quote and contacting you — legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest: customer service and responding to enquiries).
• Performing an assignment and invoicing — legal basis: contract and statutory obligations under the Finnish Accounting Act.

Data is not used for direct marketing and is not disclosed to third parties.

4. Disclosure and processors

• The website is built on Netlify, and form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms. Netlify, Inc. acts as a data processor and is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
• Fonts are loaded from Google's font server; the request transmits a technical IP address.
• Data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA except as described above, and is never sold or used for marketing.

• Quote request data is kept only as long as the quote process and any assignment require. If no assignment results, the data is deleted no later than 12 months after the request.
• Invoicing and accounting records from assignments are kept for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act (6 years).

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• know whether we process personal data about you (access),
• request rectification of inaccurate data,
• request erasure of your data,
• request restriction of processing,
• receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability),
• object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

7. Miscellaneous

Providing data is voluntary, but receiving a quote requires contact details (phone or email). We do not use automated decision-making. Only people involved in handling your request have access to the data.

We update this policy as needed. We recommend reviewing it from time to time.
